St. Roche was founded by husband and wife team Paud Roche and Sue Stemp in 2014. The brand fuses new school femininity with artisanal handmade detailing, traditional embroidery and original textile design. It’s global spread draws inspiration from the mountains of Peru, the laid-back beaches of Los Angeles, and the streets of New York City.
After becoming a mom and moving to Los Angeles from New York City, Sue's eyes were opened to the pressing environmental and social issues around the globe and the impact of her everyday choices. She launched St. Roche from her desire for unique, everyday clothes that made a positive impact but didn't sacrifice style.
St. Roche believes clothing should be made with a conscious. They work directly with carefully selected manufacturing partners in India and Peru, who are committed to honest and ethical labor practices. Wherever and whenever possible, these partners incorporate GOTS-certified organically-grown and locally-handwoven cotton, biodegradable Tencel, and sustainably-produced Alpaca knitwear in their collections.
"The fashion industry is realizing that it has to change it’s manufacturing processes and be more thoughtful, for the future of our planet and it’s people." - Sue Stemp, Co-Founder
