We are so lucky to have Dana Avidan Cohn not only as a passionate Fashionkind supporter, but also as a dear friend.  Over the weekend she took over our Instagram account to share how she styles her current favorite Fashionkind pieces.  Below, she shares what Fashionkind means to her and discusses how she styled each piece.

Nina Farran has a passion for combining the luxury and sustainable fashion communities. With Fashionkind, she's managed to do it in a way that's refined and inspired.  The designers are elevated, the product is current and on-trend, and each brand has been carefully selected for its style and positive impact on the world.

I, like many others, have become increasingly mindful about the way clothing and accessories are produced.  Additionally, as I've started to buy less volume, and more quality, I'm drawn to pieces that have a story.  Brands like A Peace Treaty, Ryan Roche, and lemlem are paving the way toward a new, more ethical way of producing beautiful fashion.

To me, Fashionkind is a chic place to shop but also a place to educate myself. I can buy beautiful clothing and learn the stories of the artisans producing them, and in turn, feel a part of those stories.

Here are my Fashionkind must-haves:

I have been knotting these silk scarves at the neck and wearing them with white linen button downs / denim cutoffs and white sneaker slides.

The off the shoulder trend is one of my favorites for summer. I would pair this top with white denim and chic, minimal slides (like the ones below!).

This dress is a matte silk fabric. It's the perfect caftan to pack for a long weekend.  I can wear it over a swim suit but also belt it and wear with a lace up sandal.

I collect sunglasses! I love special details on classic shapes. The beadwork on a simple aviator makes these a stand out.
