Our Collectiva Concepcion Lucero Skirt features a fit and flare silhouette in a midi length with a side zipper closure and embellished with Deshilado, a process of removing weft threads to create a base for intricate lace-like embroidery.

The fabric is pedal loomed in Patzcuaro, a community in the Michoacan region. Handcrafted by artisans in Mexico.

Preserving Traditions

Collectiva employs 230 artisans in the Mexican states of Chiapas, State of Mexico, and Michoacán. These artisans, mostly women, earn above 170% the minimum wage and are given the flexibility to work from home as they care for their families.
