Story

Our Collectiva Concepcion Amaia Mini Dress features a flared silhouette with puffed elbow sleeves, a round neckline, and twist details at the cuffs. It is finished with a traditional technique called Deshilado, a process of removing weft threads to create a base for intricate lace-like embroidery. It has a zipper closure down the back and is handcrafted by artisans from San Felipe De Los Herreros in Michoacan, Mexico.

Preserving Traditions

Collectiva employs 230 artisans in the Mexican states of Chiapas, State of Mexico, and Michoacán. These artisans, mostly women, earn above 170% the minimum wage and are given the flexibility to work from home as they care for their families.
